A new online course about entrepreneurship has been developed in a project “New Employment Paths for International Talents” which has been implemented by the City of Vantaa and Laurea University of Applied Sciences. Entrepreneurship as a Part of Career online course is offered by Laurea Open University of Applied Sciences. The course introduces students to changes in working life and especially to entrepreneurship.
The course introduces students to the different forms of entrepreneurship and helps the participants to identify their own competencies. In addition, the students will learn about commercialization of their competence, about the importance of pricing calculations and about how to handle accounting practices.
The course consists of five units:
- Future working life
- The identification of your competence
- Pricing of your competence
- Commercialization of your competence
- Accounting practices
Entrepreneurship as a Part of Career online course has been developed especially for highly educated immigrants who are considering entrepreneurship as a career option. However, the course is suitable for anyone interested in entrepreneurship. The online course is free for unemployed jobseekers.
