Do You Need Business Space?

One of the first steps in starting a business is finding business space. The Business Development Centre Leija’s Kiitorata premises are ideal for a new entrepreneur. In addition to the actual working space, being located at Leija offers your company a good setting in which to meet your clients and your partners. At Kiitorata, you also have the opportunity to connect and network with other fellow entrepreneurs who work at the Leija premises.  Please contact EnterpriseVantaa advisers with enquiries about working space.

Business Related Licence Formalities

When starting a business, enquiries need to be made as to whether the business activities in question are subject to licence or subject to declaration in Finland. The Enterprise Finland website  gives you information on business activities that require a separate licence, a declaration or registering. Many businesses also need an environmental permit. Please see the City of Vantaa website for information on whether your business falls under these criteria.
Applications for built-environment permits can be made electronically to Lupapiste. The customer service of Land Use, Building and Environmental Department handles issues related to planning, building permits, various street-area permits, real properties, maps, location data of underground pipelines, and city survey.
