A well-established position in the Finnish market gives a company like Finn-ID an excellent opportunity to start exploring international markets in the Urban Tech Growth program. Here in Finland Finn-ID promises to significantly reduce redundant work with innovative digital solutions. Hopefully soon also in many other countries. Finn-ID focuses especially on the digitalization of logistics with RAIN RFID technology and its solutions include software, identification-related technology and expert services supporting implementation.
We are especially happy to see Finn-ID in the program, because RFID technology has been linked to the City of Vantaa for years. The association RFID Lab Finland is located in Myyrmäki, Vantaa and the city is also an active member in the association. The non-profit association operates from the campus of Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in the western part of the city. It helps member companies with business potential of RFID and NFC technologies, creates networks, and drives development initiatives.
The customer success stories of Finn-ID include many applications to the urban environment in addition to logistics solutions: from city parking control to queuing system at a recycling site, hospital patient recognition and even an amusement park management system! You can read more about these business cases here (in Finnish). We are looking forward to seeing the international success stories of Finn-ID!
What has the growth program given to Finn-ID so far?
Even though Finn-ID is a well-established and financially sound company with over 30 years in business, we were looking for international business and partnership connections and ideas to expand overseas. It was achieved through this Urban Tech Growth program.
